I am sure if you are buying this textbook it is because it's required. Just be warned, it is awful. Horribly written, terrible examples, exercises that barely pertain to the preceding sections. Do yourself a favor, and look for an early cheap edition of Giancoli Physics to go along with your purchase and read from it (trust me...you will thank me). Also, first semester physics students....chegg (no joke....chegg).Product details

College Physics Eugenia Etkina Michael Gentile Alan Van Heuvelen Books Reviews
There is no return label
Looks great, and no missing pages
I'm using this book now for physics and for the first time in college I feel like I don't understand anything. The questions reference topics that are not covered in the chapter they are in. This book is an absolute nightmare to use.
This is a solid physics text. Well written, easy to understand, and has plenty of clearly explained example practice problems and scenarios. My physics course is hybrid (mostly online) and I've had no problems teaching myself the material from this book. If purchased in my school's bookstore it comes bundled with a workbook full of practice problems; if you are in a class that uses Mastering Physics for online homework the workbook is available as part of the e-text so there is no need to buy it separately.
I do not like the binder it came in because I can't flip the pages ( but as far as the book itself, it's everything I need
This book sucks. It's so hard to follow + super expensive for no reason.
Good
